Our very own Fishadelic Foto Friday Foto Funkidelicing Queen will now have her turn in the Limelight with the tables turned. The guy that sent me the photo was giving her crap about the bright colors and everything she is wearing which, to be honest, was the first thing I noticed too. But if you look at the bright colors in a different way....she is holding a fish. I'll be the first to admit that I have been known to go against the grain of conventional thinking and I personally applaud the Funkidelicing Queen for making more than just a fashion statement on-stream...but making a statement for people who CAN catch fish while wearing bright, crazy colors while fishing, I think the Queens Empire just expanded.
Plus the Caddis colored earrings are just plain well played!

Ok now my wife says her pink vest is too much to go with the pink reel sooo she says a vest like the funkidelicing queen would be the right amount of "bling". The flyfishing wife doubles the sport cost but the benefits are worth it:)

"funkidelic" is now a household word around here. The "Queen" was quick to point out the "fun-kid" in funkidelic. She also feels that the potential for fashion design is hampered severely by the "drab" colors of available waders and felt sole footwear. This youngster is determined to change the "look" of flyfishing, and I don't seem to be able to stop her.
She refuses to appear less colorful than the fish she is after.....God help us if she ever discovers Brookies.
