A while back I contacted Idylwilde about making a video on smallmouth fishing with some of their cool new Bass flies. They were game so I got some flies and ran straight to the river....and proceeded to lose that whole box of flies (that story can be found here)
Either way, smallmouth fishing has been GREAT this summer and the fam and I have been hitting them hard....real hard. As I have said before, if those dang trout didn't get SO BIG you couldn't peel me away from smallmouth water.
So here is probably a video that will be two-fold, part sneak peek at the "Summer 2010 Re-cap" video, part awesome Idylwilde Flies promo....either way I thought it was fun. 
Clearly a contender for several coveted films awards, including Best Supporting Fisherwife, Best Supporting Headless Crawdad and Most Effective Use of a Stunt Double...or was that really you taking the spill?

Dude this is off the hook. Outstanding video production, great soundtrack and of course the quintessential component,....great fishing action. Loved that you didn't edit out the spill when you were wet wading too.
